Price Increase Alert! Check your port adventures!

Apparently there's been some recent price increases for some Port Adventures offerings. Most notably are some of the Castaway Cay equipment rentals and the family beach cabanas. The family beach cabanas went up by $50. If you have any excursions or other things currently booked you may want to go recheck the prices to avoid any unwelcome surprises. There are reports of people who booked things before the price increases that are now seeing higher prices.

I understand there are issues with the web team and dome increases are wrong and actually they will go back to the original price.

However, maybe the price increase was loaded into the system but someone pressed the button too early over Christmas.

The increases look like something they wasn't to do, but just not now.


DCL Will normally honour any quoted price if booked before an increase, ie if you booke palo online at $ 20 and it goes go $25

There's been some who called in & questioned honoring the prices they had booked under. At least 1 person was told to read the fine print, that prices are subject to change. That person was told the higher prices prevailed. Then again, that's coming from the call center authority (insert giggles). Once on the ship its likely a different story entirely.

I've seen some mixed stories on this as well. I would also bet they will honor the original prices, even if the new prices are real. I'd insist on it once onboard.

Yep. If I was a gambling woman I'd bet on original prices being honored once onboard. That's where the final word will happen.
