Pre-Purchase Photopass Photos?

I'm heading down to the world in just about a year now for my honeymoon:sohappy:, and was wondering if you can pre-purchase photo packages before your trip. It would be nice knowing that I have so many photos pre-paid for when we get off rides and find cool spots!

We've gotten it the last 4 trips. It's is great fun to mess with the pictures once you get home. You can customize boards and crop pictures as well. This will add to the total taken.

Some of the PP folks get really creative with the shots. If you enjoy scrapebooking it's a plus as well.

I've always gone directly to the site to take advantage of the pre-purchase price of $99 (Including this year). Never used a special code or offered a special code.

I am sure that next time we will be able to get to more of the photopass photogs..this year we just had a hard time getting through the parks (my father was with us and underestimated how hard the walking would be)..Like I stated if you stopped for most of the pics you would get one heck'uva a deal..I am little disappointed in the amount of borders that you can add..it seems that there could be a little more selection..it would be really cool if you could add Disney stickers to them or even characters...

You can also book a private photopass session at a few of the resort locations. We did this back in June at Beach Club. The session was about 30 minutes and the photographer took us around the lobby, went outside on the patio and along the sand. There were about 95 pics in all. This is not included in the park photopass options. but I felt it was worth the extra price (range of $50-$100) You do get some prints and a cd of the private session with the top package. We had some great shots of the family and of my 4 yr old and 7 month old. You can book 30 days in advance by calling the resort and they can transfer you to the photopass desk.

I do believe that people are reporting that new photopass sessions do NOT include prints anymore. If you booked them prior to a certain date they will still give them to you, but not on new bookings.

The photopass website is a bit flakey at times. They posted on their twitter last night that the site was having issues.

I just got in, but they may still be having sporadic problems.

Word of advice, never wait til the last minute to do anything on their website. If it goes down you may run out of time to do your edits before they expire.

Yeah its weird, still cant. But I am still 31 days out so by the post on top of page 2, Since I am DVC I can just call member services and order it. So I will do that if I cant get in

that's weird. I clicked it and it worked. I also have that link saved in my faves since it's so hard to find and it worked on there too.

I never knew that DVC members could just call to get the discount. I probably would have just went that route if I had known.

We had one person that had my daughter pose so Tinkerbell could "fly into her hand"..it's not on our photo pass, so I guess that means it didn't come through..we also had issues with taking a LONG time to get through teh parks..my husband and I said that if it was just us and the kids we probably would have hit more of them..

Did you know they can research a photo? If it was a recent trip, not sure how long a time period they really They just need a few details, location of the pic, number of people in in, what color clothing, if you have a another pic from that day it would be helpful to attatch it so they know who they are looking for. Its a long shot but worth a shot, especially for a "magic" shot. Good Luck!

If it was a recent trip, not sure how long a time period they really They just need a few details, location of the pic, number of people in in, what color clothing, if you have a another pic from that day it would be helpful to attatch it so they know who they are looking for. I can attest to this. My husband lost one of our photopass cards from the Halloween party last year. Called them up and was able to get the shots added to our account, took less time than I would have expected.

Thanks guys I will see what they can do..it was just last Tuesday at MNSSHP and we have a few others from that night..I remember bcuz my daughter was dressed and Tinkerbell and they lady made her cup her hand so Tink could fly into it...I will see what they can do

For those of you who dont know, the reason the price of the Cd's are what they are is because you are buying the "copyrights" to the pictures.
Thus allowing you to take the disk's and go anywhere and get copies.

I think theyre great. There is no limit on how many pics you have taken and some of the little extras you get make for some really nice photos. Pre-ordreing the package makes it even a much better deal. I think when you have the Photopass you are more apt to look for photographers. There are a lot more then you realize.

Not all rides allow you to add the pictures taken while your on the ride. Some do, most dont. I believe Test Track is one of those that do. Most of the Charecter m&g's of course do. These seem to be the better pictures in the package. Which is great, You only get one chance at getting that "special moment". I highly recommend buying the Photopass.
