Pre-Disney Orlando...What was it like?

That there is Walt Disney. Someone told me this is around TTA. I am not sure if that is true.
Can we get a Walt Disney/Disney World history buff to identify if Walt in this pic was really walking near where the TTA was going to be built. Alrighty then thanks :D

The question I'd have is, how would they know? I mean, there's no distinct land markings that would one could say "oh yeah that's deffinitly the area" are there?

That picture is in all the Disney history books about WDW as far as we know it could be a very old Disneyland photo.The sad thing is that Walt never saw his dream,I wonder if he had lived 10 more years how different Disney world would be.Roy named it Walt Disney World,maybe the correct EPCOT would have been built?:shrug:

I've often wondered the same. 10 more years would have meant a whole lifetime of new ideas for Walt's dream.

What a great photo...it totally looks like (to me) the Disney entrance/gateway right off of I-4 where the Double Tree is...
