For the after hours parties you will definitely want to make an exception as the parade and especially the fireworks are the best part of the evening. So far meeting around Casey's has worked out pretty well. We get there for the parade and pretty much stay in the same place until the fireworks are done. From my understanding the ticket limit for the after hours events is equal to the guest capacity of the parade route so it has not been too much of a problem in the past.My first WDWMagic meet :sohappy:
Master Yoda, compared to the fireworks on non-event nights, is it really possible to meet at Casey's Corner (ie crowds)? I usually ride during parades and fireworks but I guess I may have to make an exception
Again in the past we have done group rides after the fireworks. As with any group of people not everyone wants to do the same thing so you kind of just have to announce "Hey we are going over to HM, if anyone would like to join us feel free." For the most part the majority of the group will follow you and the numbers will tend to diminish from ride to ride. It should not be too surprising but most WDWMagic members are some of the most easy going and agreeable people I have ever met. I have been to half a dozen of so meets with WDWMagic members and no one squabbles about what to do or where to go, but someone has to take control and make a decision and announce it to the group. Otherwise we just tend to stand in a group talking.

well, as madame_leota_19 and i were the first to bring this meeting together we would be happy to take charge and get everyone on the same page. my wife and i would love to chat w/ everyone while waiting on the parade and fireworks but we'd also love it if people wanted to join us on some rides. so, with that being said we'll set a specific meeting time and place (casey's is fine with us being yoda said it was a good spot. thanks yoda!). i'll have to find out what time the parade and fireworks are so that we can set up a good time for everyone involved!

Providing we are at P&P that night I will be there with my family +3 others.sorry didn't mean to speak for you but it was us that originally planed to meet! so that's why i said that! i'll be happy to do this for us.
so here's the offical meet and greet time for the PPP on 4/1/08. the wife and i will be in front of casey's on main street at 8pm for the parade. hope this suits everyone and if not chime in and we can set another time.... if anyone else is planning on stopping by this meet and greet please PM me and let me know who you are!

You are correct, Main Street will be a bit more crowded than the locations in Frontier land. The plus side is you already have the best spot in the park locked down for the fireworks so IMHO it is a good trade off.
But if Master Yoda is going as the excellent Captain Jack again, he shouldn't be too hard to miss!
