but yeah, they have places everywhere that you can get your pics made with the cartoon characters! There's only 2 that i can think of. Studio M at Downtown Disney Marketplace for sure. and there's one at MGM, but for the life of me, i can't think of what it's called! i do know, though, that it's across from where you exit Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playset. it's the place where there's old 'props' hanging all over the place, there's boxes everywhere that people can open and they make sounds, and the roller from Who Framed Roger Rabbit is coming through the wall....anybody remember what that place is called? and if they still make pics there? i think they did last time i was there (last year)
but at those two you can choose your own background and they all have different characters...or at least most of them do.
can anyone think of any more, or are those the only two?

It used to be to the left when you exited the ride and yes it is all boarded up now.

Wait a minute...are you SURE that pic is the pic you are talking about??? I remember a "fake" pirate and a "SET" like you were on a pirate ship... (The pirate had a black beard and was driving the ship)... I have a pic somewhere but I'll have to look.

Well, I think...

I actually remember both the picture spot in question and a CM dressed like a pirate outside the ride... not sure whether they have that anymore either...

but as far as the petition for bringing back the photospot is concerned, I see no reason why they wouldn't - I mean, it doesn't take up much room, doesn't need any CM assistance, needs little maintenance, etc. The only things possibly wrong with it are:

1) The old WDW logo - no doubt they would end up having to remake the thing because of this - (but really, how much can one of those cost - 100.00? Maybe?)

2) Some idiot getting their head stuck and then trying to sue. This sounds pretty far fetched, but given recent history it unfortunately seems to be a possibility.

i am looking at the picture now,it may be a fake pirate...i can't tell...it looks real....it looks like a set...w/ one brother standing in front of the turning steering thing(blonde moment) and my other brother sitting on the edge of the ship ...both are in pirate type of attire.

:brick: :hammer: :brick: :hammer: geez...i'm surprised no one caught this before now! i knew it was left the whole time i was imagining it, but for some odd reason put right (that's just me, i guess...i'm getting bad about that these days!!) thanks, donaldduck! i never would've caught it myself if you hadn't said anything!! :D

Oh yeah! I remember that one. You sat on a pile of coins and jewels with the pirate. I also have the pic on the back of the train. I wish they were both back, i love taking pics like that. Why was the pirate shop closed up? Now everything is in the walk thru area.

I never got the one with the train :( I wanted to though...
