PotC parrot voice revealed!

I found a pretty neat bit of info while searching around on the internet. It appears that one of the most sought after voice actors of our time will be a part of the PotC refurb. His name is Dee Bradley Baker and he has done numerous character/host voices from projects including: Space Jam, Powerpuff Girls, Spongebob Squarepants, Family Guy, Shop 'Til You Drop, Kingdom Hearts, American Dad, and dozens more. And here's his tie to PotC:

"Dee has just finished recording the voice of the parrot of Johnny Depp's "Captain Jack" for the refurbished "Pirates of the Carribbean" ride at Disneyland's Magic Kingdom, opening in July of 2006!"

So next time you hear that parrot talk, remember, it's actually the same voice who did Olmec, the rock god, from Nickelodeon's '90s gameshow, Legends of the Hidden Temple! (remeber that show!?):p

I'm pretty sure thats how it was! hahaha not to mention those pesky tribal people that would hide in corners and grab the kids and give them heart attacks.

Wow, thats an awesome guy to do the voice. I LOVED Treasures of the Hidden Temple! I still watch the reruns on Nick GAS every so often. I still wish they did the show, but hey, at least there's reruns lol.

No... that was Salute your Shorts, but Hidden Temple was indeed great :D :lookaroun

I wanted to be on the show so badly! :lol: :(

This is exciting news! Can't wait to hear it at the end of the month at DL! :sohappy:

I actually saw a taping of Legends of the Hidden Temple years ago. It was soooo much fun. When they show reruns on Nick Gas, I check to see if it is the episode I was at, but it never is. I used to love that show.

Um.........not so much. No parrot of Captain Jack on it....I rode it last night;-) It could be the parrot at the start of the attraction, but he is not saying much at all.
