As a matter of fact I'm enlisting in either the Marines or Air Force. It's still a toss up, I keep wanting to join Marines. We'll see

heres my 2 cents worth-i was in the air force-4 years.i was what was called a security specialist which is basicaly military police.we had marines stationed at our base-they had some military police training there for some reason.i think each branch has good and bad.air force is more high tech while the marines is more gung ho.
air force basic is 6 weeks while mc is 13. basisc is at lackland afb-in san antonio tx while mc is at paris island or san diego ca.if u want to have a better selection of gung ho jobs marines all the way-the air force only offers a hand full of gung ho jobs for enlisted people-airborne medic,security specialist,small arms/combat arms specialist and like 2 more-the rest is in tech jobs or adm.

i have never seen so many cute/hansome people with the same intrests in my life. lol . I know that i dont post very often on this disscussion group but i thought i would reply on this one. It may not be shown by my post numbers but i was one of the orginal members of this disscussion group. Although this has nothing to do with this post i would like to say that their were times in my life that were hard and the support of the people on this site helped me along. I am proud to say that this fall i will be attending the University of South Florida( go bulls) And may be in teh college program. i would just like to say that i am proud and privelleged to be a member of this wonderful forum. And Thanks to all those of you who haved helped me.

Hey congrats on your acceptance to USF!! Isn't that in Sarasota? I'll be going to Ringling School of Art and Design which is in Sarasota. Ohhhhh fellow Disney nut in close proximity. (if USF isn't in Sarasota I oficially feel dumb! )
