"Can't you just use your credit card?"

My kids always told me to go to the ATM. You don't know how many times I had to explain that the money needed to be in our account before I could do that.
My standard answer now is "Wait till payday". Most of the time they have forgotten about it by then.

I remember asking my mom to write a check for everything as a kid. I knew that writing numbers on this piece of paper could get you stuff when you didn't have any money, so I didn't see why she didn't just use it all the time.

The day she finally explained to me how checks really worked...worse than learning about Santa or the Easter Bunny for me. :(

Oh, the tooth fairy's gone Union now, along with the leprechauns, the elves who make shoes, and the boogyman. You can't do a damn thing with any of 'em. Try yelling and they just pull out their last collective bargaining agreement...then they put some kind of curse on you that makes your feet smell really bad. Just not worth the hassle.

Jacob Marley in "Scrooge". It was a fun, if uncomfortable part to play. I got to zoom around the stage in a flying rig. Also the kids in the production would not go near me when I was made up.

LOL Barnum! I think, either center top, or bottom right hand corner? No? :lookaroun
Bottom right was King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar. I had to drop out of the chorus numbers in act II because that makeup took so long to plaster on.

OK, that's really all I had to say about that (so sad)...
The iconic shirt was a dead give away.:D sadly I had to hand it back after the show - Snoopy the Musical.

Top left is The Kralahome from "King & I". No prosthetics were used in the production - though a lot a breath holding and clenching of stomach muscles was involved.

Bottom centre is PT Barnum, taken in the last moments of the show "Barnum".

I have to admit that it is a VERY flattering photo. The costume manages to cover the less than impressive aspects of my physique

I guess this should be the point when I say "Well, I showed you mine......" :animwink:
