DVC member here too. It does ease the burden between trips knowing that I have to return at some point in the not to distant future to take advantage of it. Also being AP holders entices us to at least go for two weeks a year.

Good point about being DVC members. I'm glad I became one in August this past year so now I KNOW I get to go back soon. :D :D

Never too much Disney World for me!

At least some of you have the luxury of knowing when you are going. We last went in March 2010 and since we were on the verge of starting a family we didn't know when we'd get back. Now that we have a one year old son I think we could take him sometime next spring when he's two. That would be a ball, and my mother in law could come since she'd be a first timer.

But..............finances are getting in the way right now. I think I can figure it out but we really want to go to California in September just the two of us if it can work out. I'd be a lot more excited if that would happen and the impending trip with the little guy would happen too in the spring of 2013

I understand where you are coming from because it is the way I have always felt after a trip up until this last one. We just got back May 7th from the best trip I've ever had to the world. It was honestly just perfect. But, by the end I started thinking to myself "You know what? There's a lot happening here right now and it's going to take awhile until it's all done, but I want to see it when it's all done." I guess I got to the point where I was really happy to be there but also really excited about the next chapter of Disney World. I realized that if I stayed any longer, there wasn't anything left to do? I'd ridden all the rides. I had purchased all of the merchandise I wanted. I tried the foods I liked. We met the characters we wanted to.

I guess I just told myself that the next time we come, it will be all different again. There will be new rides next time, new merchandise, new restaurants, etc. But, I have to give that time. I can't come back in 2 months or it will all be the same. And, I can't let it become to easily accessible or it loses the magic.

So, I told my husband that I want to go back when it's decorated for Christmas because I've never seen it. We decided that this Christmas was too soon. So, we are planning our next trip for November/December 2013. We want the FLE to be done, we want new merchandise in the stores, we want it to be different and to get that it takes time. Knowing that has really helped me be okay with the wait to go back.

Somtimes the worst days are the ones right when you get back because you know that it is so long until your next trip. But, just tell yourself that every day is one day closer to the next time you walk down Main Street! :)

Scrap, scrap, scrap. It's a great deal of fun and a good way to get your fix.

Start planning your next trip! You can pick dates two years out, if you like. :). Read the UG...new one always comes out late August / early September.

Read books on Walt or WDW.

Read the boards.

:)

By listening to Live 365 Internet radio: Magic 24/7; Magic Radio, Mouse House Radio, Sorcerer Radio, DisRob Radio, MouseWorld Radio, etc., etc. :sohappy:

I, too, listen to many of the Live 365 stations to give myself a little Disney pick-me-up. While I have not really posted much or really even read many threads on this site of late I think I am going to have to start again.

My wife and I have been talking about how much we miss Disney, even though our last trip was this past September. We've been talking about planning a quick trip to Disneyland next month to quench our thirst but that may not come to fruition. We are expecting our second child in October so we will see what happens and how she is feeling.

This forum is great for getting a quick Disney fix. So many great photos, stories and reports to thumb through. It's great to live vicariously through others every now and then.
