Possibly a silly question

Hi There,

My family and I have always purchased our park tickets as part of MYW packages on our last onsite visits to the World. For this upcoming December visit, we have booked a discounted room only stay for the BC, and have paid for the airfare already.

We have yet to purchase our tickets, (three day park hoppers). Just for the purpose of spreading out the cost I am planning to buy the tickets when we arrive. I know I could get them at the MK gate on the 9th our first morning. We will check in after midnight on the same morning. Can I purchase the tickets when I check in? It would save having to line up at the MK in the morning.

Consider purchasing them on-line, or call the BC before hand and ask if it is possible.:xmas::xmas:

Not sure about deluxes, but at the values, you can't add ticket media at check-in. After you check in you have to go to the "concierge" line and add ticket media there.

Why not buy them before hand and avoid the hassle of doing it on arrival? When I arrive I want to be ready to hit the parks. Enjoy your stay.

Yes you can buy them on your arrival, you can also buy them on line and in advance as you know. But yes you are able to do that.

Though at the late hour that the OP said they'd be arriving, the Lobby Concierge desk will be closed. (I think they close at 10 or 11pm)

They can buy the tickets first thing in the morning, though, before heading out to the parks. That way they can encode the tickets right onto the room keys. If you buy them at the park, I'm not sure that they can do that. (You'd have to get the "paper" tickets, use them that day, then stop by the Lobby Concierge to transfer them onto your room key)

If you're not booking a package, you might also want to consider buying the tickets from an authorized Ticket Reseller like TicketMania, Undercover Tourist or Maple Leaf Tickets. You can save a few dollars over the gate price. Those tickets can then be encoded onto your room key after you check in, if you so desire.

I know this is very silly probably even a little crazy but I hate those paper tickets. They remind me of our stay at the Sheraton Vistana, which was not a very productive trip. I think I'll provbably get them at the Concierge Desk in the Morning. Any idea when they open??

Keep in mind, you'll have to have all the room keys. They don't re-encode the ones you already have, they issue you new ones with the ticket media encoded on those (at least, that's been the case the few times I had to add it sperartely).
