Possible to book a trip in 3 months notice?

My fiance and I were preparing this past summer to book a December trip. Then, disaster struck. I fell off my deck and broke my kneecap. It was a bad break and has required a lot of physical therapy. Plans were halted. Now, months later, I'm back on my feet again and getting closer to walking unassisted. For cost reasons, and just general impatience, we want to book the trip for the first week of February. This leaves us little prep time. I am a Disney vet however, having been there about 15+ times with my family.

Bottom line; is it possible?

Absolutely! I've planned trips in 48 hours or less. 3 months out is plenty of time. You might not have a ton of hotel or flight choices but there will still be stuff. February isn't a super busy time so you should be able to dig up some ADRs. Since you know your way around a Disney trip I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't be able to pull this off.

I already found out the Caribbean Beach resort is booked for the week we want, I'm worried Coronado Springs will also fill up.

Also, ADR's are a big worry. Ever since the 180 day thing started, I've been very worried. Is is still possible to get into a place like Coral Reef or Le Cellier in a few weeks notice?

I'm going the first week of February, and have been tinkering on the dining website. There's lots of ADRs available, you might have to be flexible on times, though.

Yea, you can do it. Start booking any ADR's now, if it does not happen, cancel them. Sorry to hear about your knee cap, makes mine hurt just reading about it, don't want to think about how it feels. Good luck, lots of time till the first of February.

Sure you can!

We decided 3 weeks ago to go to WDW 12/22/11 through 12/27/11. We got the hotel (POP), flight and ADRs we wanted. We even got Le Cellier and Cali Grill. I had to keep trying for the ADRs but I got all of them. The hardest to get was Liberty Tree for lunch on Christmas day. We also got O'hana for the fireworks on 12/26. This is the 2nd time we made last minute plans to go for Christmas and got what we wanted.:xmas:

We decided one day and left the next when we went to Disney World this year. We couldn't get the meal plan, but we were able to get reservations to eat at Biergarten, Prime Time, and Yak & Yetti.

No
go for it. we did the same last year. we returned from a thanksgiving trip and over christmas planned a surprise birthday trip for our kids (both february babies) over the presidents weekend. we were able to get great ADRs and a stay at the Contemporary (their favorite) less then 8 weeks out!!

we also did a very last minute (like sunday night 10 pm lets go to disney tomorrow trip) this past july. we still had plenty of room options and dining reservations that week. its never too late to plan a trip to the world.

the nice thing is, you wont have to wait too long before you go this time

have a great time!!!

Last year, my parents went to the Food and Wine Festival at the end of October. When they got back, my mom was so Disney depressed that she wanted to go back. She made reservations at Wilderness Lodge Villas (we are DVC) and bought plane tickets for the next week. We got plenty of dining reservations as well. You should be fine booking three months in advance.:)

I would! I've been down there at a not so busy time and even been able to call for ADR's the same day I was in the park. Enjoy, and glad to hear you are finally starting to feel better!!!!
