Possible Summer 2010 Trip

It's a big IF. But I may be going to WDW next summer. I'm taking an early flight and im going to arrive in Orlando just after 10am. The thing is, I haven't flown in years(I've gone in a car a couple of times). And I've never used Disney's Magical Express before. So I have a few questions.

1. Is Disney's Magical Express just like the Resort buses. Or is there a scheduled departure time?

2. What happens to my bags if I arrive at my resort before the check in time? I'm probably going to get my resort around 11am.

3. If my room isnt ready, can I check in and go off to the parks?

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

1) Magical Express seems to load constantly. When we landed, they were just coming and going...took about 20 minutes to check in, get on the bus, and go.

2) The bags arrive sometime within a few hours of you. If you need something right away, bring it in a carry on.

3) Yep, we checked in and went right to the parks. When we returned at the end of the day, our bags were in our room. In our case, we arrived at noon, and the room was already ready, so we popped in to have a look before we left the resort.

All in all, slick and smooth...I'd definitely do it that way again!

Cool. I'm thinking about staying at Pop Century and I read that the bus makes stops at other resorts. They said it takes an hour to get to your resort because of the other resort stops. Is this true?

ME can stop at up to four resorts on a run. The ride has never taken me more than an hour from airport to resort, once we finally get going. There can be a wait at the airport for the buses to get full enough to go. It's still a very good way to go. The buses are very comfortable motor coaches, not at all like the on property buses.

You will arrive at the airport and head to the Magical Express desk. They will check your DME ticket and you will get on a bus. They usually have a few waiting there and they come and go frequently. You do not have your luggage with you at this point
You will arrive at your resort in about 30-45 minutes and check in. If your room is ready, you can go up. If not, head straight to the parks. When you are done enjoying the parks and return to your room, your bag is in your room waiting for you.
