Possible Attraction in France pavilion (Epcot) Update - new Attraction Greenlit

There's a handful of IPs - Inside Out and Big Hero 6 are the most obvious - and undoubtedly dozens of characters that they could use in a pavilion about health and body that I'm honestly surprised they haven't done anything with the pavilion yet. Plus it seems like it would be a piece of cake to get sponsors for the pavilion since Disney already has a foothold in the fitness world.

This is basically how I feel. I think Epcot in general could use some more rides that aren't E-Tickets to help round out the park. Something you can hop on and be done with in an hour so to make better use of time while you wait for your Fastpass time or dinner reservation. I think this would be particularly good for World Showcase to help each country feel more substantial without distracting from the pavilion itself.
Oh I forgot about BH6. There could probably be a live show featuring the characters talking about health. Or just Hiro and Baymax.

If they're so set on IPs, then BH6 and Inside Out are two that should be represented and used well. Meet and Greets are nice but there's a lot they could do with these two.

At EPCOT now, any correlation between this project and the green fence between France and Morocco? My guess is it's more to do with one of the festivals since that seems to always be more elaborately themed area during F&W and F&G. Just wondering if this has been mentioned.

The more I walk around after entering the world showcase entrance the more green walls they have in areas that had playgrounds and such during F&G. I'll chalk this up to nothing to see here.

Batb one is larger and more complex and expensive than Rat so for now rat is a far more viable option. Rat also fits in the world showcase far more than Batb does. But what Batb has going for it is the film is about to prove once again how much money it makes and how much the property is revered vs Rat not having any that plus none of the same merch potential.
If they build a B&TB ride it makes more sense to add it to the Magic kingdom (repurpose the Belle meet and greet as the entry)...it could be built at the same time as the Tokyo DIsneyland version as they are building two Star Wars Lands right now. R just fits better in EPCOT.

I agree.

As long as they don't destroy what's already there in the process.

Leave Impressions alone

Let's use real titles here. The beauty and the beast ride for Tokyo is WAY to $$$ for the budget of Disney World.

The rattitouie ride is an option, but the 3D should be dropped since it only detects from the show.

It would be gray if there was something totally unexpected however.

It's a shame we don't have a proper BATB ride at WDW. One would think that since the remake is the 10th highest-grossing film of ALL TIME that it warrants a proper attraction. But hey, that's just me...

OK, I could understand how spelling-autocorrect could make misspellings of 'total,' 'detract,' and 'great' into 'titles,' 'detects,' and 'gray.' But how could it miss 'rattitouie'?

Well, I would counter and say if Frozen was a box office flop, we wouldn't have Frozen Ever After. There can, at times, be a correlation between a movie's success and whether Disney capitalizes on it.
I'm not doubting Disney's decision making process. I'm saying it's a bad reason.

Sometimes the highest grossing films become a part of theme parks, sometimes they don't. These are the top 20 highest grossing films (which includes inflation, otherwise GwtW would be on here) and their theme park representation:
  1. Avatar- WDW
  2. Titanic
  3. Star Wars: the Force Awakens- Disney theme parks
  4. Jurassic World- Universal parks
  5. The Avengers- DLR, IoA
  6. Furious 7- Universal parks
  7. Avengers: Age of Ultron- DLR, IoA
  8. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2- Universal parks
  9. Frozen- Disney parks
  10. Beauty and the Beast (2017)- Disney parks (though it's mostly the 1991 version that is represented)
  11. Fate of the Furious- Universal
  12. Iron Man 3- DHK, DLR, maybe IoA?
  13. Minions- Universal
  14. Captain America: Civil War- DLR, IoA
  15. Transformers: Dark of the Moon- Universal
  16. LotR: Return of the King
  17. Skyfall
  18. Transformers: Age of Extinction-Universal
  19. The Dark Knight Rises
  20. Toy Story 3- Disney
I guess for the most part, high grossing film= theme park presence. But then there are 3 major franchises that somehow do not: LotR, James Bond, and Batman (not including the occasional roller coaster). Of the three, the most egregious is Batman. I know Disney won't be making a Gotham land, but there is so much potential for one somewhere. That would probably make just as much money as Harry Potter or Star Wars, IMO.

Titanic had a theme park attraction.

If you're looking for more than a roller coaster, Batman is part of the recent Justice League dark rides.

A James Bond stunt show was in development for Universal Studios Florida before it opened.
