Poseiden Fury history

I hate the way IOA's Lost Continet was laid out. Why couldn't PF be closer to Wizarding World and they could have replaced that show and left the otherwise perfect Dueling Dragons alone?

Seriously, I love the queue for PF and I wish I could see the original show again, but I'll never set foot in that building again until they replace the current version. I think it's terrible.

I've heard from Universal Team Members that the Lost Continent will be turned into the second phase for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

I figured that would happen. There are only two attractions left in The Lost Continent (Poseidon and Sinbad) and both should be fairly easy to replace. Perhaps we'll see the Department of Mysteries appear where Poseidon is now...

IMO, Universal should start touching up their other attractions (JP was in need of a big refurb when I was there) after HP opens, because most of the crowds will be centered there, giving them a reason to close attractions for a week or so.

I have tons of Universal Ideas (there should be a Universal "Imagineering" Thread, not just Disney) including a redesign of PF to "Journey Into the Underworld."

Oh, snap

Good thing I checked this thread XD I was considering giving this show another shot when we go there next week, but it looks like there's hardly any point now

its not toooooooooooo bad, the entrance area and the line are cool to walk through...the show doesn;'t take too too long and you get to see a number of fireballs :dazzle:

And the exterior of the show building looks fantastic. I take the same photo every time I go to Uni, and it always looks good.

You'd lose the best theming in the park if that happened. Besides Hogwarts, Wizarding World isn't on par.

I think it is too early to make that statement. Do you work there and have access to the area to say that? From the video you can't tell all that much. I will miss the tree restaurant dearly though...that was the best themed restaurant I have seen in any park.

This attraction needs to be completely gutted and turned into a dark ride...perhaps a boat ride would be best since IOA is lacking relaxing rides. There is just no point to a walk-through attraction like this. It is beyond me why they would make an exterior so amazing while putting nothing into the attraction itself, aside from the one cool thing which has been turned off. It is totally and completely worthless. They turned off the water since nobody even bothers with this attraction.

I was referring to the Hogsmeade exteriors, which are clearly visible to study in various photos. They're all relatively drab and look almost identical. The various facades in LC, especially Poseidon and Mythos, are more impressive IMO. Or at least they will be if they ever decide to repaint them.

Hate to bump a thread, but I've been looking for video of the original and I haven't been able to find a full version. Anybody have a link to one?
