Might be worth it if you get there, realize you need one, dont have one, and dont have have the transportation to leave property to buy one.

This same charger would probably cost $10 in the real world, but just like everything at WDW it's going to come with a substantial mark-up.
Yes, I understand, but these have immediate swap for a fully recharged unit when on property.
How many times do you anticipate needing a re-charge? Last time I was there, I only needed to recharge once per day.
Absolutely worth it in my opinion. They're a little more expensive than ones you get from Amazon, but having used one on my recent trip, it was very convenient. The ability to swap out for a fully-charged portable charger in just a few seconds, in any park, was great. I only wish they had a few more swap stations in Epcot (one up front, one in the back) -- that place is large.
Depends on usage and how long of a day and how many people. We do share between family members too. Some only recharged once a day, others twice.
I have a slightly older iPhone that I also use as my camera; between communicating with my 12-person group that tended to scatter, keeping track of things on the app, and taking pictures, I can go through a charge a couple of times a day. Especially as my phone tends to die when it hits 18% or so. Being able to swap out chargers on the fly was great for me.
Are airports considered real world? They are quite expensive there as well....
Not really. Everything is overpriced at an airport too.

Im going to say its an accurate representation of real world given KC Int airport is the only location within a hundred mile radius that has them. Source - fuel rod website.
