Port Orleans- French Quarter or Riverside?

Which one would you recommend for 2 adults? I realize they're right next to each other, but.....:shrug:

i would choose the french quarter because everything is just so close no matter what building your staying in.

We love Riverside more than POFQ. We like the decor more. However right now POFQ has updated rooms and Riverside does not so that may make a difference to you.

POR is my family's favorite! We've stayed there about seven times now, and just love it more and more each time we stay. The grounds are beautiful throughout the resort, especially the buildings that make up "The Mansions". I've never found that any building is far from the main buildings, and the bus stops are all close to any given room. Asthetically speaking, Riverside/Magnolia Bend is much prettier than French Quarter.

Whichever you choose, be sure to drop in on Yee Haa Bob at riverside. The guy is just the right side of insane, and great fun.

The wife and I are going in october and just switched our res. from POR to FQ after reading a bunch of different reviews from different sites. We have stayed at riverside for a couple of nights a few years ago and it was nice. New rooms, queen beds, and less bus waits are just to many positives to pass up about FQ.
