Port/Airport/Hotel transportation help!

o_O;)So we will be flying to the Orlando Airport the day before our cruise. We have the transportation from the airport to Port Canaveral. Does anyone know how this will work if we are leaving from the hotel? Does the transportation that you chose from airport to Port Canaveral work only if you’re going straight from the airport to the port? (That may be a stupid question but I had to ask.) Would it be better to find a hotel near the port and have transportation from the airport to the hotel and the next morning and catch a cab to the port? Or Stay near the airport and use the airport to port transportation the next morning (if that is at all possible.) Any info that anyone can provide would be great! Sorry if I confused anyone!

You could book the Hyatt that's IN the Orlando airport then take the transfer the next morning from the airport. This option will get you to the port early and on the ship not long after boarding begins. If you stay at a WDW resort hotel you can get transfers from your hotel to the port thru the cruiseline but these won't arrive until a bit later. If you stay off the airport and off WDW you can arrange a taxi or some other private transport then get back to the airport in the morning for your transfer. Or, you can hire a town car service to take you on out to the port. Lots of options!

Short answer.. yes. It only goes from the airport (or WDW resorts).

Your options are get to the airport on the morning of the cruise... or get to the port yourself via cab/towncar/rental
