i had recently read on another website that if you purchase pop corn in walt disney world you can get free refills just wondering if anyone else had done this.. it would be a great deal when we go in a few weeks if its true!

:eek: Disney?? Give something for free?? Wow, I thought I could hear the slight cringing of exec's when we get poured refills on our drinks at restaurants! I would be very surprised if this was true, but I do not know, I've never gotten popcorn. The vendors are always dangerous close to the turkey leg vendors, ew..

I have never heard of this, and when they did the refillable cups for soda, they put a label on it that changed daily, was color coded and had code that changed to make sure they were verified when refilling to be used only one day.

But when I worked at All-Star Sports, you could get a mug and refill it at the resort food court anytime during the trip. It was a great deal.

yep, I purchased the pop century mug last time I was there. 12 bucks for all you can drink soda as long as you're at that resort. Good deal.

It was sad when we got home, my wife pulled the mug out of the cabinet and handed it to me with a frown and said, "Can you get me free coke again."

Yep, the magic doesn't follow you home. There's no such thing as magical refilling cups at home.

You can't get FREE refills, but if you buy the popcorn bucket the first time you can refill it with the cheaper box popcorn later in the day. That is what we do - so we have a lid and the popcorn won't spill.

i bought a popcorn bucket for $3.00 at MGM with a xmas decoration on it and the popcorn was really,really salty!! is that normal in america?

i think if you buy the bucket with popcorn in it then you only pay something like $1.00 for refills -but i dont know. i threw my popcorn away but kept the bucket!

WDW popcorn is salty and I think that is what makes it so good to me. I am not a salt freak, but that popcorn is addictive when I am there. Ask the birds...they stalk you from the moment you walk away from the stand, especially the stand by MS. :lol:

I think they make the popcorn extra salty on purpose so you have to buy something to drink too.

I know I would, if I wanted to make some extra $$$!!!

On several occasions, I have seen birds (gulls) dive down and knock the popcorn container out of a guest's hands. I have seen the CM popcorn vendor then replace the popcorn without charge. :wave:

Did you know Disney doesn't pay for the popcorn?:eek: They get it for FREE! Part of the deal with Orville for advertising as the Exclusive popcorn of Walt Disney World. And don't get me started on the Coke products.:mad:

Those birds by the Frontierland area McDonald's french fry stand are pretty vicious trying to get them out of your hands, too.:lol:
