Popcorn

Yeah I know that too.Bottled products they get a really good deal on too. About 1/2 cost you would pay for same bottle of soda at say 7-11. And then they sell them at almost 2/3 the regular retail price. Heck, our machine in our warehouse only costs 85 cents for a soda, and is owned and filled by Coca-Cola. I think $1.50 would be a little bit of a fairer price, instead of $2.50.

I wish, on both accounts of Turkey Legs and Popcorn. Probably mny two favorite snacks in the park. Besides Frozen Bananas from the cart right near the entrance of ToT.

Doesn Disney even give free refils on soda?

I think they make the popcorn extra salty on purpose so you have to buy something to drink too.

I know I would, if I wanted to make some extra $$$!!!

FACT!

That is why bars and Restaurants give you popcorn and peanuts for free, they know you will die if you don't pony up the cash and buy a drink or 5.

3 of my 4 favorite things - free popcorn, free peanuts, and beer.

My fourth favorite thing? Free beer.

I want to find a popcorn vendor that doubles the butter!!!

You would be shocked with the prices Disney pays for their bottled drinks...Being an inventory CM at ODF I can't get the crazy low prices out of my head!:brick:

LOL, I have come to the reality of Disney merchandise and food a long time ago, working in Ad-Specialties I deal with alot of items similar to those sold in the gift shops in the parks and I see what it costs to produce them just for a salesperson like myself, nevermind the prices they get for those items....then what they sell them for......move over joeyjoe so I can bang my head on that wall you are so selfishly using...:brick: :brick: :brick: :brick:

When I was a vendor I used to make the correct recipe...but double the butter.:fork:

Does the Disney popcorn normally have butter on it? Is it real butter?

All the batches are made with butter or it would burn in the heating process.

The ingredients are:
artificial butter
beta carotene
coconut, corn, and canola oil

Thanks.I wonder if that artificial butter has any actual butter in it. Ya know...like when they sell artifcial non-dairy creamer but it actually contains dairy?

So the question is...is Disney Popcorn actually vegan.

It could very well be...

We are told that it "may" contain small traces of butter.

Do the popcorn stands actually have an ingredients list available for me to view?

If it does have small traces of butter in it....I'm not a happy camper :(

i had recently read on another website that if you purchase pop corn in walt disney world you can get free refills just wondering if anyone else had done this.. it would be a great deal when we go in a few weeks if its true!

Absolutely not true.

Although refills are not free, almost any stand that sells the item in a souveneir cup will refill or sell the item in a cheaper cup. Also while at counter service restaurants you can have the sides removed at a big discount. For example at the restaurant in the breezeway in Epcot I got a roastbeef and turkey Panini type thing, it came with pineapple coleslaw for like $7.25 I think and with the coleslaw removed it was like $5.80. I make this a practice because I'm not usually fond or their sides.

That is true! Some of them are killed by throwing them out of TOT.
