Pop Century: The Legendary Years

Is there any time frame at all on construction/opening of the Legendary Years? You can see the main lobby building and the few room buildings that are up very clearly from many locations from Classic Years, as well as the giant block numbers "00" "10" "20" "30" & "40" in front of the lobby building. Many people are confused as to what it is, since they are under the assumption P.C. is just the 50's on up. Also, some of the signs that have the decade years scattered throughout the design also include the 00's-40's.

I have heard construction on this half of the resort has been put on an indefinate hold. There was no construction activity going on at all during our trip.

I loved Pop Century, most fun I have ever had at a hotel, and was just wondering how many more years until we will get to experience the Legendary Years.

I guess it all depends on income and demand since Pop Century was mothballed after 9/11. Nice to see the demand coming back! Now for Wilderness Junction, The Meditteranean Resort and The Kingdom Suites....

Quite frankly we do not need those other hotels. There is only so much land and we already have 15 resorts, we really do not need to push it. As for the Legendary Years, it's gonna be a while. They're gonna let Classic Years enjoy a full house for a while.

Shades of Green is only a partial resort.
Merge Y&B Clubs (The Y&BC Resort)

Then there is about 15 resorts (although there are more hotels )

Now...anybody know what the "icons" for the Legendary Years will be?

40's: Dumbo perhaps? *hopes* but probably not.

according to the passporter book, there will be a coke bottle pool for the 1920's, a crossword puzzle pool for the 00's, and i forget the third pool. no mention of disney characters but i am sure there will be some.

I know the 40's are supposed to have a huge Tonka Truck. and the courtyard in the 30's section will be a large Monopoly board similar to the foos-ball(sp..) table in the 70's section. I have a neat piece of concept art some where. I'll post it later.
