Pop Century is no longer a Value Resort

My DW surprised me with the idea of doing Disney again at Christmas. We decided to go in a different direction this year, but as time went by, so did our Christmas plans. I was totally surprised at how many resorts were available for Christmas week!!! Even got an AP rate at POFQ. And, MK park rezzies for Christmas Day. In years past attempting to make those rezzies at this late date were unheard of. Perhaps the high prices of the Disney experience are having an effect.

Of note - Dolphin is only $285 and that’s with the daily resort fee. Of course parking is extra if you need it but if you aren’t parking that’s a great deal compared to the moderates.
Great location as well.... Tons of nice restaurants right there with two "short" walks to parks... Can't beat it.

If there was a Skyliner line from the Allstars Resorts would they have also added said price to it as well?
In addition to skyliner - pop is also very centrally located.

It was always my preferred value resort based on location and bus service alone.

Now that it’s close to the moderate prices I’m going for port orleans or going cheap with a Priceline deal next to springs.

I understand why they charge more for Pop, but for the love of Mickey can they at least put a cover over the bus queues? That's about the only thing I don't like about that resort.
