"WDW Daily News is not associated in any official way with the Walt Disney Company, its subsidiaries, or its affiliates."

So this Linda Summers person doesn't set policy for Walt Disney World. She writes about it, like a lot of people, and like a lot of them she got something wrong.

It used to be their policy many years ago that any hotel guest could hop to any other pool on property, but that was done away with a long time ago.

This is especially true at the Yacht Club pool. You need a wristband to get into is because it is so popular and you can only get one if you have a KTTW card from the YC. Unlike the other pools where it is against Disney policy but not enforced (just highly frowned upon). Talk about a reporter not checking up on stuff.

I just commented on the post as well so hopefully it will get corrected.

I have been at three separate hotels on three separate stays and have had my ID checked and I have also seen people escorted out from both the Poly and the WL.
