Pooh's Playground

I heard through the grapevine that the former 20k area is going to be a HIStK-PG type play area for kiddies themed to Pooh...
anyway, I was just (about an hour ago) over at MK, and the door in the construction wall has about a one inch gap up from the ground...I peered in there and work seems to be coming along as such. I only caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a tube slide and some construction guys, but it was awesome nonetheless. Can't wait to see what the finished product will look like.

Very cool! My daughter is just getting into Pooh, and it would be terrific to have her able to experience the Hundred Acre Wood in some shape or form! i was already hyped about having her ride the ride, and now this! Can't wait!

LOL!

I am not a huge Pooh fan, (not that I hate him...) but I'm def. glad that they are using this area for SOMETHING other than NOTHING.

I've always wondered something...
Okay, they're making a playground.

First of all, it better be some good playground to actually pay to use.

Secondly, this better be some big playground, as I know there are a LOT of kids at DW (Hmm...wonder why? ). and I'm sure not even 10% of them can all fit in the playground ... but then again, perhaps it is a huge playground, like at the Animal Kingdom.

Of course, I have a tendency to look at things with a positive outlook:
Positive outlook: Kids at playground = less lines in fantasyland

Also, as soon as anyone has pics of the playground, PLEASE NOTIFY ME. I'd love to see it ... you know, curiosity.

Well for one thing nobody has said you will have to pay to use the playground.

I am quite sure he was referring to the fact that you would need admission to the MK to use the program, hence paying to use the playground.

That would be a stretch don't you thing. Then we could say that the Bathrooms in the MK should be really special since we pay to use them. Im sure that's what he meant but I think it's going a bit too far.

But WDW and the MK do not market the bathrooms as an "attraction" either, which I am sure they will do with Pooh's Playground.

Don't take it the wrong way, I am for the Playground, better than wasted or idle space.

I guess you make a valid point.

I will like this as long as it doesn't take up too much space. I'm still hopping for an E-ticket in the 20k spot. Also it seems that Magic Kingdom is too squished together. It will be a nice place to relax and get away from the crowds!
