Question from DS, on our last trip he purchased a ukulele in the Bou-tiki. He plays guitar and bass so he tuned ukulele and has been playing it. He asked me where it was made and I told him probably China, but he asked me to ask the experts.

Does it have a name anywhere on the ukulele?

Please excuse my confusion, but if there is a "made in China" tag, don't you have your answer?

Many musical instruments are manufactured in China for “big name” companies. I think DS was looking to see if anyone knew if one of those companies had the contract with Disney or was it just Lee’s sweatshop.

My guess is that if it was made for a "big name" company, the "Made in China" would be at least a little classier (embossed, burnt, etc. onto the piece).

I'll second the sweatshop! :lookaroun
(That must be what Kathy Lee is doing these days! LOL!)
