Polynesian transportation question

We are finally going to be at the Poly next week. I have 8:30 a.m. reservations at the Princess Norway breakfast in Epcot. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get to Epcot from the Poly and which is the fastest/best way? Epcot also doesn't open until 9:00 that day. Thank you for answering this silly question!

Only takes a couple minutes. You walk to the transportation ticket center and take the monorail over. The longest part will be walking from the monorail to Norway.

I would leave at 7:30-7:45 am, absolutely no later than that. You have to take the Monorail or walk to the TTC, Transfer to the EPCOT monorail, get off at the front gate of EPCOT, show your breakfast ressie at the front gate to get in early and then walk back to Norway. Hope this helps! Belle

I agree... we always leave about an hour because you never know about the transportation... you may have just missed one!

Walk to the back of the Polynesian property and hit the TTC...that way you don't have to make any transfers. Make sure you have your ressie paper and you will be able to get in early (just like Belle said). Enjoy your trip!

Getting to Epcot is pretty easy, but make sure you give youself a decent amount of time. Since you are going to be going before the park opens they will sometimes hold the monorail in the TTC so more resort guests can get on it, so just make sure you give yourself enough time for this. The quickesy way is to walk to the TTC and then get on the monorail. Don't take the loop around, it wastes a lot of time.

Thank You!!!

So glad I asked you all. I will walk to TTC and will leave at 7:15 just to allow extra time since this is all new to me (TTC, Epcot walking, etc). Now I can just get excited for the breakfast surprise for my daughters (they dont' know what they are in for).

Thanks again!

I took notes on how long some of the walk times are and the walk from the middle of the Polynesian to the TTC took 5 minutes. Depending on if the monorail is there or not could add another 10 minutes at the most. The ride on the monorail takes 8 minutes. From the monorail to World showcase takes 7 minutes. The total time is 30 minutes. I have made it from my room in Hawaii to Mexico for lunch in 15 minutes but allow yourself some time.

Here's a tip: Ask to ride in the front of the monorail. That early in the morning there are very few people riding and your chances of riding up front are Great!:animwink:

Don't take the Monorail to the TTC...that will waste at least 20-30 minutes that you can save with a 10 minute walk.

Make sure you allow plenty of time for the walk from the entrance of Epcot to the Norway pavilion. Depending on your walking spead, could take you 15-20 minutes.
