My boyfriend and I had booked a private photopass session at the Polynesian on Jan.11th just for fun, and it turned out to be so much more!The session was awesome and I'd recommend it to everyone! Our photographer, Alex Mirabal, took over 200 amazing photos of us! Even though the day itself was really chilly and we had to have our coats within arms reach for the whole shoot it was a blast. Towards the end of our shoot, Alex had us walk along the Poly's beach, holding hands. As Alex snapped away and we walked back toward him, my boyfriend tugged on my hand and said "Wait a sec."I started to look over at him thinking he wanted to give me an impromptu kiss (which he'd been doing throughout the shoot).
When I looked over, to my shock, he was getting down on one knee with a diamond ring! He asked me if I would make his dreams come true, and the I don't remember anything else! He swears he asked 'Will you marry me' and that it took me so long he had to say 'Well' and that I did say Yes. All I remember is feeling so elated and my hands flying up to my face in shock! I was so happy! My fiancee picked me up and swung me around and when we got ourselves back together, Poly guests out on their patios all clapped and cheered for us!
And the best part is, its all on film! Our amazing photopass photographer Alex got all of it captured and they are some really awesome pics! It was the most amazing and magical day ever!
.......on a side note, though I don't remember saying yes, I do remember shouting "We get to get pins!" after my fiancee finally put me down, referring to the 'Just Engaged' pins, which we wore everyday for the rest of our trip
