OK, I'll pop a kernel. Buying a ticket does not mean you own the park. You get to play by the owner's rules and if you get in the way of operations they are well within their rights to tell to to pick up your crap and get out of the way. If you fail to do that they can have you ejected.

I know it'll never happen but the parades (to ME) are a logistical nightmare that cause way more problems than they're worth, and would be fine with dumping them altogether. Not the fireworks of course, just parades.

I was thrilled when they got rid of that one in Epcot (Tapestry of Nations?) that ruined World Showcase every night.

Well i Hope they Learn From Tokyo parks about viewing regulations. Well i Hope they add more rules regarding the Viewing for parades shows and fireworks spectacular.

Two weeks ago I was leaving MK about 7:30. It was not quite dark yet. The curbs along Main Street were packed full of people all the way back to the train station. The middle of the road was empty. I didn't have the heart to tell them that there was not going to be an evening parade for fear of being in the middle of a riot.

That same thing happened once before on a night when no parade was scheduled. The street was packed. I asked a CM what was going on and she said she thought that people were waiting for the parade (which wasn't coming). She made no indication that she intended to tell anyone because eventually they would notice on their own, I guess! I said that I was going to leave before the revolution.

If someone wants to sit all day to wait for a parade go for it. If they're saving spots for someone else, no. Unless it's a potty
run ( I mean one person ).

I can imagine guests being more upset by this than the fact there was no evening parade. I know it's not the cast member's responsibility to make sure everyone is aware of showtimes. But still.

Folks don't show up that early at WDW, and they certainly don't regularly lay out blankets like in that photo, so I'm not too concerned. I doubt they will stop you from just standing there.

Just show up before the parade or fireworks and find a spot. You can squeeze in and force others to move if you know how to do it right. We do this every trip and space somehow manages to be found every time.

Its too dang hot to camp out all day long on a shade-less MSUSA/Hub anyway here. I don't love anything at Disney to sit in the hellish July heat for ten hours, lol.

Do they still rent out those cabanas... I got a great spot in the hub for one... lol...
