Pofq lobby refurb

On the port Orleans Facebook page it was just updated that the lobby is being refurbed. Any information on what is taking place?

All I have since been able to find is that the refurb will start in may and the current check in area will temporarily be moved over by scat cats club. The article I read ( I don't know if I can link it here) said the work would be similar to that done at riverside last year.. I

They recently did a refurb of the lobby of Dixie Landings and it does look terrific, although a bit naked since they took out the second long Guest Services/Concierge desk.

No it did not. There is very little info on the port Orleans Facebook page and fan site.

Has he been laid off or something? I'll miss him too if that's the case, he's one of the things that has made French Quarter our regular, and favourite, place to stay each year.

The first time we stayed at POFQ was in April and we fell in love with the place. We caught Elliot Dyson there and he informed us that he was being let go. Truly sad....he was the best. He still plays at UNI though, not the same exact act though.

I have always been very happy with the cleanliness at the resort.

The first time we stayed at POFQ was in April and we fell in love with the place. We caught Elliot Dyson there and he informed us that he was being let go. Truly sad....he was the best. He still plays at UNI though, not the same exact act though.

That's disappointing, we always enjoyed watching him play a couple of times during our holiday and he is a very nice guy as well.

Without the Dyson ball, FOFQ will be filthy. I always say, without my Ball, I'm nothing.
