What about women who smoke pipes?

:ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

I love the fact that they opened a cigar bar there. Nothing better than getting dressed up a bit, smoking a fine cigar with some fine wine while listening to some jazz music.

One thing I don't get about bars (anywhere) that allowing smoking, but not cigars. I think cigarette smoke is nasty and if you allow that, why not cigars?:shrug:

I think women who smoke cigars are sexy ;)

I've seen Gina Gershon chomping on a stogie, so I can understand why you'd think that way. But I had an aunt who smoked cigars, constantly. The light from "sexy" would take a million years to reach her. And I'm not saying that just because she's kinfolk - I can distance myself from blood relations and objectify them as pieces of meat with the best of 'em. :D I can look at a cousin and say "well, yeah, if our kids wouldn't wind up with 14 toes on their hands, I could think about that... But when it came to this aunt, when she talked, she sounded like George Burns sounded, and she looked...like George Burns sounded. Then again, maybe she just wan't smokng the right brand.

I don't get that either. I don't smoke, but I prefer the smell of cigars over cigarettes. The first time I smelled cigar smoke (in The Jazz Company, actually) I thought it was kind of weird. But it didn't seem to cling to me and make me feel like I have some kind of grimy film all over me like cigarette smoke does.

A Cigar Bar, nice! I am not a smoker, but I do enjoy a cigar once in a while. Smoking a cigar is more about the experience then just the cigar, with the atmosphere, and a good drink, a good cigar, some nice music. What else more could you ask for?

Because someone will inevitably light up one of those nasty "It's a BOY!" La Palina cigars and stink everybody out of the place.:hurl:

I'll admit, walking by Sosa's and smelling the tobacco is not the most unpleasurable experience I've ever encountered.

I just can do without the smoke.

Thats just it. Smelling the aroma from the store is not unlike the smoking experience itself. Smelling someone else's cigar smoke, is much like you describe. Completely different experience.

Too funny! That's probably next up for the smoke Nazis, so it's probably not too far off...
