Pleasure Island Attire

Been to Disney World approximately 30 times, but never been to Pleasure Island. This year, we have someone to watch the kids, so the hubby and I plan to go for a few hours. My question is, what is appropriate attire. Married with kids so don't do the party scene to much anymore. I just don't want to stand out like a sore thumb. Is theme park attire appropriate or should it be a little more dressed up!! I want to go to the Adventurer's Club since I have read so much about it on the forum.

Jay-Rod and Mightyduck, you were there recently, can you enlighten me?

Oh yeah, if it matters we are between 35 and 45 years of age. But of course, we are never going to grow up at Disney!!

I always make sure to get to PI at least once or twice each trip. I'll warn you that this is over run by people my age (21-25) but everyone is dressed differently. You have your guys and girls all dressed up to meet one another, and then just people that just came from the parks, so it's a good mix. Nobody really stands out.

If you're looking for a club to visit, I can recommend the Comedy Warehouse. My fiancee and I were there for 4 shows when we were down there a few months ago, and are planning on seeing at least a show or two next month when we go. :)

Any more questions, let us know!

The jokes just keep getting worse and worse, don't they? This forum is starting to look like a microcosm, spawned from the genes of Saturday Night Live...

As for attire at PI i wouldnt be too worried about dressing up, its pretty much the same as the theme parks. As for PI itself the two must hits are Comedy Warehouse (improv comedy) and without a doubt Adventurers Club (interactive theater). things can get a bit risque at both of these club, no janet jackson halftime stuff but things you wouldnt normally hear at the magic kingdom. Also dont go to Mannequins if you've drank a few too many it has a spinning floor and that wont bode well for ya.
