Our wedding is September 30, 2006 in Disney. We're in the process of reserving room blocks for our guests. If you were a guest, what would you prefer?? Pick 1 value and 1 Deluxe. Thanks!!

Value
All Star Music $71/night
or
All Star Movies $71/night

Deluxe
Grand Floridian $214
or
Contemporary $174

Please let me know what you would do. Thanks!

I would go with Movies and Contemporary. But thats just me. But you can also just flip a coin.

If I could throw in my actual choice it would be Movies and Wilderness Lodge.

I would definitely pick Grand Floridian for the Deluxe resort.

Can I get an invitation to the wedding? I would not need accommodations. I just want an excuse to be at the Wedding pavillion. :)

I'll say the All Star Movies & the Grand Floridian. However I also advise you not to overlook the Port of Orleans French Quarter or Riverside. Both are very nice hotels & were renovated less than two years ago.

I would say Movies and the Contemporary. Although I have never stayed at either the Contemporary or Grand Floridian, I personally would choose the Contemporary over the Grand Floridian - I think it'd be a better fit for me. Plus they are redoing the rooms, so they'll be really nice and new!

I would go with the WL as my Deluxe choice also. Its the least expensive of the deluxes, has great atmosphere and easy acces to the MK & monorail.

I have stayed at both Music and Movies and would have to say go with Movies.

But as for the Deluxe resorts, I would say Contemporary... but as someone else has posted if you had thrown it in, Wilderness Lodge would have been my top pick.

Either All Star and I would pick the Wilderness Lodge over the other 2 deluxe resorts. (may be prejudice since we got married at the WL and also stayed the week there) Just feels very romantic to me, with the little nooks to sit in with the fireplace in front of you.

I would definitely choose AS Movies and Contemporary. Nothing says Disney better than the Contemporary and since it has been recently renovated, well, even better. AS Movies has what I believe is the perfect environment for such an event as a wedding.
Congratulations on your nuptials!!:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Guests pay for their own rooms. We let them know two years in advance. There will be no hard feelings if people can't make it due to $$ issues. That's why we have chosen rooms in all 3 categories to make it easier for everyone to decide what they want to do.

We are going with:

All Star Movies
Coronado Springs (we love it!)
Grand Floridian

Thanks everyone for your help!
