Drives me crazy when people are for warned to procceed all the way down to end of row, filling in all the seats AND people still think the rules don't apply to them and stop in the middle. Smiling away, giggling because they have a prime seat. Even when they are told to move all the way down again they still don't budge! SMACK!!!!!!...Lots times its people who don't SEEM to understand english but gosh darn it ...MOVE TO END OF ROW!!

I used to think that I wouldn't be bothered by that because I'm pretty easy going when I'm there. Even when the odd person cuts in line or something like that I never say anything because I'm so flippin happy just to be at Disney ... but what you're talking about actually does drive me nuts !! I guess it's because when people stop in the middle, the rest of us and all our kidlets are forced to crawl over them to make room for the rest of the people and they just stare straight ahead pretending that they don't hear the announcement telling them to move their butts !!!

And I am not a small lady ... it's not easy (or attractive) for me to be crawling over ANYONE !!! :ROFLOL:

Step on their toes as you go past them. Sooner or later, they'll get the message.

Drives me crazy too! I always wonder if these people so badly want the middle of the row, then why push and shove to be the first in the theater? Let some people in first!

Last summer we went to see the Little Mermaid show. The CMs were instructing everyone to move to the end of the row. Two rude women just plopped down in the middle. It was sooo annoying to have to walk over two people, trying ot get the kids past them, just so we could get to the end of the row. What is so hard about following direction? Now that I think about it, we encountered a lot of rude people doing other rude things that trip.

You folks are exactly right. I as well step on their toes when climbing over them but I also say (whether they speak English or not), "Sorry, you're fault."

Ill have to step on a few feet next vist then.
And also rip some wind in their face, that'll show them what happens if you dont follow directions

I step on toes and kick shins, only of the adults as the children get the benefit of the doubt.

Being 6'7 and a muscular, yet flexible 315 pounds, I have yet to get any kind of remark from anyone about doing this to people for their stupidity and ignorance. And it serves them right.

Jimmy Thick- I swear one guy crapped his pants when I looked at him...

I also hate when CMs ask everyone to continue moving down in a waiting area or something to make room for more guests, and someone doesn't do it.

The "F--- you, got mine" attitude people have these days is infuriating.

I have learned the best way around this is to go down to the front of the theater walk around to the exit side and fill in from that side. People will keep on stopping just like they will KEEP ON TALKING in the shows so I find the best way to fix it. But I will be stepping on toes next time also!

I got very irritated in a show last year when 2 people wouldn't move as the cast member kept saying to move all the way to the end. I actually looked at them and asked if they heard the cast member to move to the end and you know what, they actually moved to the end. :sohappy:

That drives me insane as well. I have been so tempted to yell "get the HELL out of the way!" to them.
As disgusting as this may sound, I'm waiting for the day that someone does a 'drive by' to the offenders. They wouldn't have to endure the smell if they had done what the CM had told them in the first place. :ROFLOL:

Oh yes, you've nailed one of my WDW pet peeves! Now I like to sit near the middle like most people, but there's a bit of an art to timing your entrance just right when you enter a row of seats. If you want to be the first one to barrel into a row, MOVE DOWN TO THE END! You get the added bonus of being the first ones out.

I fully advocate the tow-stepping and wind-passing approach to dealing with these people (adults only, not their kids). And if you happen to be carrying a large bag, making sure that it's hanging from the shoulder closest to them as you pass by is a good idea...

As for moving down when the theater isn't full, I've actually been there at times when the CM specifically says to only move 2/3 of the way down. (Muppets, ITTBAB and HISTA, usually)
