this drives me insane! can they not see that they are in the way?? obviously not. even when the CMs continue to say over the loudspeaker 'move ALL the way to the end' people do not listen. to be fair, the only time it has ruined a show for me sitting on the end of a row was philharmagic. right on the end seat and the 3Dness was lost slightly... but if i hadn't of been on the end i probably wouldn't have noticed donald out the back of the theater hehe.

I often wonder if it would be better to have people enter directly from the back of the theater and fill in from both directions...then exit to one side at the end.

The problem is that they often open the doors to the next guests as the others are walking out, which would lead to some confusion and traffic problems

I also hate when this happens (who likes it?) but I try not to let a few idiots ruin my experience at whatever attraction it is. I'm so tempted to say "Can you move all the way down to the end...LIKE THE FREAKING CM/ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE TELLING YOU TO!!!" But usually I just glare and continue past them. Now I make sure to linger in the waiting area and then head in so that I'm not the first few to encounter the person sitting in the middle - hopefully they will get the message of people stepping over them. Doubtful. Wish there was a way to better enforce the rule.

Sometimes when a few people stop right in front of me in the middle of a row, I'll ask them to move down a few more seats and then I'll sit (with my family) in the seats that they had orignially selected. :D

But those are the best seats! :D

I find that if people stop in the middle most dont go by them and just stop and sit too. A good thing about this is once someone is like ummm move everyone moves down and the ones on the end are now in the middle.

This worked for us a few times last trip. But really most seats are just fine!! I try not to let others bother me!!

People like that just might get their foot stepped on and a big butt in their face when people have to go past them. Just sayin'!

I hear ya. I tend to do the same thing when some sap ahead of me is walking painfully slow and is right in the middle of the path meaning I can't get by him on either side. Over the years I have become an expert at making it look like I accidentally stepped on a person's heel. Usually people then step to the side and clear the path. I apologize as I walk by them, no harm no foul and we both move on. Meanwhile I do it intentionally just to get by.

Yes, I am not patient in crowds folks

If it makes you feel any better, when I am a CM working a show that asks guests to move to the end of the row, if I am able to, I will personally go up to that group of people and tell them to "Please stand up and move all the way down." Using a firm kindergarten teacher voice and very evident hand motions. And trust me, even if the there is extra room in the theater for them to have this option, I will often times still enforce it if they are the first ones to sit down and choose to sit down at the beginning of the row.

It's a simple instruction that helps keep the show loading time down which keeps wait times down.

I've heard CM's say "please move 3/4 of the way down your row" when the show isn't full.
Same here. I've also seen it not enforced when they did say "move all the way down" because the theater isn't full. Knowing out at least two shows operate, the person working the theater doesn't necessarily know if it's going to be full or not when people start coming in, so they're on auto-pilot. It's not that they're trying to inconvenience you.

I like it when the CM's are 'on the ball' and specify that either this show is going to be full so please go all the way to the end, or, evaluate the situation and give instructions to either go 3/4's, halfway or even sit where you'd like.
