When I booked there was no availability showing for standard or garden views......I called and expressed my wish to book a garden view....after a couple minutes on hold the CM came back and said they were able to use some pixie dust to secure a garden view room....cost was less than the pool view CBR......You might want to try calling if you would rather be in POR. (POFQ frequently is not in promotions...I wouldn't book there if your planning to modify to the next promotion)

So you already booked a room and plan to switch it for a play, stay and dine promotion? Do you have to book a package with the dining plan in order to be able to make that switch? I wouldn't want to be stuck with the dining plan if the promotion never comes out...

As far as I know it is not required to have a package including dining to make the switch. But if they wanted a dining plan regardless I doubt they would feel like they are "stuck".

I plan on playing staying and dining no matter what :). Im just hoping to save some $$$$$. I will adjust dates if necessary. I have done that in the past

Maybe I wasn't clear, I meant I would book the dining plan with a promotion on it, but not at regular price, so I would feel stuck with it if the promotion never came out. I totallly understand that some people will buy the dining plan anyways, but it's just too much food for me!

Thanks! Actually, I am already dreaming of my January 2017 vacation, so it's way too early for my ADRs...!!! I'm an OCD type of planner (!!!) so I will book as soon as I can and start planning, hoping for a good promotion like the stay play and dine. I know it has to come back for 2016 first, that's why I'll be watching your thread! Good luck to you guys for this year!

Travel dates: January 2 – April 13, 2016

Excludes:

Little Mermaid rooms
Fort Wilderness Campgrounds(campsites)
Bay Lake Tower
GF Villas Bungalows
No 3 bedroom villas

Room discount 1/2 - 4/13. Values 10-15%, Moderates 15-20%. For those, January and February have no discount on weekends. In March and April, same discount on weekdays and weekends. Deluxe and Villas have 15-25%, weekdays and weekends for all dates.

Stay, Play, and Dine 12/13 - 12/19 and 1/2 - 3/7. Required 3 nights and 2 day tickets. Same exclusions plus POR (December only), POFQ, and AsMo.
