Where can you see all of the cars that are running special paint schemes? I haven't seen any of them yet.

You can go to Nascar.com, and go to the Nascar.com store......Ebay sellers also have the pictures in their auctions. The schemes I know of are the Muppets, the Looney Tunes, Jr's All Star, Gordon's Pepsi, Jeremy Mayfield's Mountain Dew..oh and Mike Wallace's new sponsor.....At&t with Carrot Top...one freaky looking car!!!!

You got that right!

Speaking of nascar.com's store (and referring to my comment above), I decided to order my first car through them. I usually buy local or order off QVC. Local, I know for sure what I'm buying. Off QVC, I've ordered several cars, and been satsified with each.

They had Jarrett's 2001 1:24 Elite on sale for $54.00. I was like whoa, I have to buy it (Jarrett is my favorite). Most Elite's are way more than that. So I ordered it. Turns out it was listed wrong, and it was actually the Elite Color chrome (bigger surprise). BUT, the car had 2 tiny chips on the driver's side roof rail. I wasn't going to let it get to me, but I decided to call, and they said they would send me a new one, and have it checked before shipping.

I got it today. Good grief. Chips and scratches all over it. The corners on the Elite box were mashed in, and the sleeve was all scratched on the top. 10x worse. I'm either sending both back, or the 2nd one at least. The car lists at $300 right now, although those 2 tiny chips on the first will decrease the value a bit.

That's a good deal...even with tiny chips. I have way too much diecast...lol.....anyways, I ordered my 1st from QVC Friday....the Dupont Stars and Stripes CHROME!!! I only order from QVC when it is chrome because they are usually the only ones to get it. I like Jarrett a whole hunh b/c he is really good to his fans....I also like the UPS scheme...I live about 2 minutes from the Homestead Miami Speedway...I am working with them to retail 1-100 scale models of Nascar Speedways that I am creating...the 1st will be Bristol with fiber optic night lighting...I am really excited about it. After that, I want to use my supplies to make a model of Cinderella castle with color changing fiber optics. My degree is in architecture, so I am very happy I am doing what I like.

Well...... I´m not american, but I´m celebrating too!

I´m going to the theater for a concert of the "Binational Orchestra Mérida - Miami", an orchestra obviously formed with musicians from Miami and my city that gather very few times a year and play either there or here. Very cool, very nice! :)

that is the spirit maria! you don't need to be american! we celebrate cinco de mayo, (ok, the drunken american version of....)

Going to Chicago. I need to try out my new mini-van,and since my next WDW trip isn't until June 2003, I want to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. It helps ease my longing for Disney a teeny bit:D

Fan of Disney 1981, We're going to Chicago just to get away until Sun. I was there last year for the first time, but didn't get to do much. We are staying in Westmont and plan to go to the Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, and shop downtown. We were going to go to "Taste of Chicago" but I read where that ends on Wed. In a nutshell, anything that my 6 month pregnant wife can do in 90 degree heat. Once again the Cubs aren't in town this year either. Boo!!

here is a websight about the taste. http://www.cityofchicago.org/SpecialEvents/Festivals/Taste2002/

I think your preg. wife will enjoy the food. lots of good stuff. we were there on sunday, and it was very tasty. but make sure you drink plenty of water and take a lot of eating breaks in the shade. the heat is unreal!

we also just went to the muesum of sicnece and industry, and they have a cool movie about the interantional space station playing there. tom cruise does the narration, and it is on the omnimax screen.

and the field museum has a big desplay of chocolate, and the history of chocalate. I didn't get to see it, but it looks amazing from the pictures I have seen.

the shopping is fab this time of year! lots of sales going on, I am sure they will be thru the weekend. the downtown disney store on michigan ave had a great summer sale going on!

enjoy!
