Plans for Disney first-times w/ 2-day Park Hoppers

Friends of ours are going to disney for the first time in a few weeks. They will only be in the Parks for 2 days and have park hoppers. While there, they will be staying at Wilderness Lodge. They told me they enjoy thrill rides, and want to see each of the 4 parks in their 2 days and experience the best rides Disney has to offer. They asked for a plan... this is what I have given them, so far (without knowing EMH schedule... or if they would want to stay that late each night).

Comments?

Day 1
- Bus to EPCOT before park opening
- immediately get FastPass for Soarin'
- ride Test Track and/or Mission Space while waiting for Soarin time
- ride Spaceship Earth on the way out of EPCOT.

- monorail to Magic Kingdom
- FastPass for Spalsh Mountain
- ride Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Buzz while waiting for Splash FastPass
- see Mickey's PhilharMagic at some point
- stay for parade fireworks

depending on how quickly they can fit in the above, ride other rides they think they might enjoy, or ride some twice.

Day 2
- bus to Animal Kingdom
- FastPass for Expedition: Everest
- Kilimanjaro Safaris while waiting for Everest time
- See Festival of the Lion King

- bus to DHS
- FastPass for Toy Story (if none left at that time get one for RnRR)
- Ride Tower of Terror and RnRR while waiting for Toy Story Fastpass
- stay to watch fantasmic if it is being offered that night

Did I leave anything out? Would you do it differently? (From talking to them about the parks, it seemed they would like to spend the most time in MK and DHS. It didn't sound like they were too interested in World Showcase... so I skipped it entirely.)

Find out of there are late night EMHs for Magic Kingdom (like 11-2 or 12-3) and if they are, maximize that.

Consider going to DHS first, and DAK later. DAK empties out late in the day. Then they could goto EPCOT for the fireworks that night.

I agree with going to DHS in the Morning and AK in the afternoon with another trip to EPCOT for the evening for a walk around World Showcase to enjoy some adult beverages and see Illuminations. Also consider Thunder Mountain at MK while they're there for Splash. Hopefully they won't have any problems with the buses.

I can only see one problem with your plans - crowds. Going in a few weeks means August which means busy, busy, busy. There's going to be very long lines and little chance of Fast Passes being left whichever parks they hit in the afternoons.

Yeah, I'd switch around DHS and AK too! And then heading to Epcot again for the evening sounds like a lovely idea! You have to see ROE or it's just not a trip to WDW!!!
