Planning on using a discount code to book a villa, will they let me take advantage of a free dining

Hoping to book a trip next September for a villa using a discount code I received for 35% off. My question, if you use a discount code can you take advantage of a free dining plan too? My thought is they might allow it since usually the free dining plan is offered to everyone, whereas the discount code is a random thing.

I believe hakunamatata is correct. I always thought the free dining promo says "when you book a non discounted room & ticket package". Every time I have done the math the discounts on room only were a much better deal than the free dining.

We just booked a villa using a pin code too, and I thought how lovely it would be to also get free dining. :) I like the room discount better though, so we stuck with that.

Free dining is the room discount. The resort still technically needs to pay for your free dining. Even though they are just transferring funds from one arm of the company to another, it needs to be paid for. Since no resort wants to have to pay for your dining, as well as lose the profit from your room discount, you need to pick and choose one or the other. One may work out better than the other, run the numbers in your particular situation.
