does anyone have a planning/packing list. just planning on leaving in a week and will have a busy two days before leaving so need to get ready in the next few days.

I don't have anything printed out on hand, which is I think the kind of thing you're looking for.
I can think if a few things off the top of my head:
Chargers/batteries for phones, cameras, etc....
Anyone in your group that takes any meds, make sure you have enough for your trip.
Make sure you've sent out checks for any bills that come due during your trip.
Arrange to have your mail and newspaper stopped, unless you have someone to collect them for you while away.

Yes, I have loads. They are extensive and over the top but yes, I have them.

I never make a list. We've done the trip so many times it just comes natural. Sunscreen, bandaids, zip loc baggies, etc...

Soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair dryer, brush/comb, hair spray, lotion, deodorant, sunscreen, make-up, band-aid blister block

Meds (prescription #s tucked away in suitcase & actual pills carried on plane!)

Gum
Scissors
Lanyard
Garbage bags, ziplock bags

Phone
iPad
Camera(s)
Chargers

Tickets (copies of the backs of tickets in suitcase)
$ for tolls

I think that's every single thing I've ever brought for me.
