Planning Help...

Hello everyone... I'll be in WDW from 12-4 till 12-10... My plane gets in at 830pm on the 4th. The rest of my group is not arriving until 12-6 at night. SO basically i'm looking for some planning help. I'd like to take the time alone to resort hop and also hop around the park and take pictures of the christmas decorations, that way I dont have to lug around my big camera and I can enjoy myself more. Can someone help me with some sort of itinerary? I'd like to eat at the California grill bar 12-5, other than that i'm open to suggestions! Also i'm staying at POR.

Thanks for everyones suggestions/itinerarys/and HELP!

I went to Disneyland in 2010. I had some time with a friend and then by myself. I have to say, just leisurely strolling around the parks and snapping pics ( a great joy and hobby of mine), was one of the greatest Disney moments I have had. It was so fun! No stress and just a joy! So I say, take those 2 days and just do what you want to do and go to the parks you want to go to. I would do Mk and Epcot if I had to pick too and then take the monorail to hit the Christmas decorations at GF, POLY, CONT, and then via Epcot, see Beach/Yacht Club and Boardwalk. I know there is a huge chocolate display at Cont and the gingerbread at GF and a chocolate carousal at Beach Club. Depending on what else you wanted to see - the WL is beautiful, as is AK. You can get to WL via the boat from MK. You may spend a lot of time going from resort to resort so make sure you really plan which ones you want to see.

I would rest the night of the 4th when you arrive.
12/5 - Take the bus to MK. Take some pics of the decorations. Visit contemporary, Poly, Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge. Take pics of their decorations. Be in the MK at 6:15 pm when the castle is lit. Then go eat in the Cali Grill Bar.

12/6 - Go to Epcot. Watch the Epcot storytellers and take pics of the decorations. Visit Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk and see their decorations. Take the boat from the World Showcase exit to DHS. Be at DHS at 5 pm. Watch them turn on the Osborne lights. Stay until 8 pm. Take boat back to Epcot. Watch Illuminations with holiday tag at 9:30 PM.

This looks perfect on paper... hopefully I'll have enough time.. I'd like to be back to the hotel to meet everyone when they get in on the 6th so I may skip illuminations I think we are doing that on friday night! EMH! Thanks.. anyone have any other ideas?
