places to buy groceries

i read a few posts but would like to ask again if there is a place like goodings on the property. and how far it might be, best way to travel there...don't want to leave the park

if we have a room, like a villa, with a full sized refrigerator it would be handy to have some basics: milk, butter, jam, PB, yogurts...so on

we'll have a dining plan but with kids i know they'll be hungry (me too) right before bed. i also will be getting up before them in the morning so i might want to have a bite before breakfast.

It will also save on gas driving down with less of a load too.

You should also visit the character warehouse stores where they sell the disney merchandise that didn't sell, were overruns, etc. This merchandise comes from the parks/hotels and is a better quality than those stores that sell 10 shirts for $5. http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/cware.htm

Thanks shoppingnut, I didn't even think of that. And who knows what the price of gas will be in another 2 years.

Thanks for the link to the character warehouse too. I know my brother will be ecstatic. :sohappy: I am not sure if that was one of the places they actually did hit up this last time down there. I know he was all excited to find last year's WDW merchandise cheap at this one place, but I waited out in the van while they were all in there shopping so not 100% sure if that is where we were or not (too busy taking in the beautiful scenery).

Thanks again. Both money saving tips for next trip for sure.
