Places for young kids

my suggestion is to also stick to the types of dining your kids are use to...basically if they can't sit through a 1-1 1/2 hour meal then don't do places like california grill. if they are the types to want to be up and moving do a buffet not a signature venue. if they enjoy the characters do a character meal, many of them are buffets so it gives you more flexibility with what's available to eat. try to make your dining reservations near the times the kids would normally eat so your not adding the extra stress of an overtired over hungry pair of 2 year olds to the plot. some places like the dinner shows can be fun and interactive if you have busy kids. whispering canyon, 50s prime time cafe, and ohana's are higher energy fun interactive and kid friendly. my kids are 5 years apart so when my youngest was 1-3 we often did a bedtime snack on the beach at the poly, watched the fireworks while we snacked, watched the water parade then i'd put the youngest to bed while my husband took our oldest for a special boys only night time swim before bed.
