Hey guys!
Could you help me out with this? I am planning my next trip (May 27th!!!!!:sohappy: 15 days and counting!!!) and I really want to have lunch at Pizzafari. But I have a question about the food there... Is it good? How big is the pizza? Is it the same kind of pizza they have at Pizza Planet at MGM, or is it different? I don't like the pizza at Pizza planet very much, so if it's the same pizza, I will just consider some place else... Well, thanks anyway!

 Kisses to you all!!!

Hi there Tati, Great to see you again!!! I happen to like Pizzafari it is definitely OK and as Tigsmom says that is coming from a New Yorker!! I do however think it is about the same as Pizza Planet in MGM So I am not so sure you will like it, even though if you snag a nice outdoor table it is a great place to see Mikey's Jammin' Jungle parade from. I have also done Flame Tree BBQ and wouldnt recommend that at all. Me and my tummy werent on speaking terms for a while there after that adventure!! I would recommend Rainforest Cafe for a sit down. They have pizza, pasta, and a pretty diverse menu. Make sure you go see my guys from Off Kilter when you are in EPCOT and if I am there I will be dragging you there with me!! Belle

Pizzafari has good pizza and a kids?, combo-meal:`pizza, drink, popcorn, and icecream. My kids love there. They always want to try a different room when we go.:slurp:

Yes, the pizza at Pizzafari is the same as Pizza Planet. However, don't pass up the following at Pizzafari:

Hot Italian Deli Sandwich with Chips $6.19
Turkey, ham, swiss & provolone cheese topped with caesar salad and pesto marinated tomatoes :slurp:

I've always avoided the cardboard pizza places, but eventually gave Pizzafari a try and was surprised by how nice it was. Crispy base and tasty sauce. Plus as Woody just posted they do a nice Deli Sandwich.

Regarding Flame Tree - this is my favourite, eating outside by the little pond. Sorry to hear that WannabeBelle had a dickey tummy from there, but I have eaten many a rib of theirs without so much as an unexpected bottom burp.

You have a fascinating way with words Barnum!:D The Flame Tree is one of my favorites as well. The food and the seating area are both top notch.

Hi, Tati! Glad to hear you're headed to WDW!

I'd definitely give Pizzafari a try...we've eaten there several times, and liked it very much. Rainforest Cafe is also great, as wannabebelle suggested, either at AK or in Downtown Disney.

Have a great trip!

Thanks for the tips, guys! Yeah, I think I will try pizzafari, then. I think the pizza at Pizza planet is too thick, and if it's the same... Well, I am considering this deli sandwich though. I don't like ceasar salad, but I can order it without salad, can't I? It sounds delicious! Do you guys know any place at WDW where I could find a different pizza? Or are they all the same?

Hey Belle! I had never heard of Off Kilt, but will check it out, ok? What do you mean? Will you be there at the same period as me?

Yeah, Figmentmom! I made it!!!! Just can't wait! :sohappy:

 Kisses for everyone!

Would Barnum and I steer you wrong? Trust him, or me or both of us. Try the sandwich just the way they make it. Try it, you'll like it!:slurp:

No, of course you would never steer me wrong...:lookaroun

But I really hate salad in all its forms, so I guess I will try the sandwich with no salad. Or the pizza, who knows...

Yeah, the Polynesian is a great idea, I have never been there... Is the pizza there good? Different from the one in the parks?

Cool, I never thought anyone but me ever tried that sandwich at Pizzafari. It is the best secret in the fast food sections of the parks. I definitely recommend it WITH the salad though, it's not as though your sandwich is covered in a huge salad, it's just like having lettuce on your sandwich but the lettuce has a flavor. It really makes the sandwich what it is, so unless you despise everything green don't be too hasty to order it without. You could always scrape it off if it disgusted you. DELICIOUS.
