Both, I think they're both fundamentally different. It's like DL vs WDW in a way, lol

If both were placed infront of me it would be different each day, but right now it'd be Chicago style.

I'd argue that there's four significan styles of pizza: NY style, Chicago style, mid-American 14" with 8 slices style, and gourmet. And the bests of each category are more interesting than which style is best.

I've been to Unos, Ginos, and Lou Malnati's. I like Lou's the best, Gino's has too much of a corn-bread crust.

I'll agree there are four significant styles, but differ as to what they are. There's Chicago style (far and away the best), NY style (acceptable), mall "pizza" and most of the rest of the country (crap), and California style (an outright abomination).

I think we have the same gist. Mall/Papa Johns was my 14" 8 slice one, and the California I meant by gourmet, like ones with fish and weird things on it.
