So back to the rumors and news on this ride...
Did I?@marni1971 has said that they could potentially use the original plans.
That was me but that was speculative. Something would have to be done to extend the queue and that's the only space I could see it moving.Didn't someone say that there was a plan to possibly extend the queue into the glass art shop space?
I read Adrian Molina as Alfred Molina, and got super excited and super let down in about the span of 4 secondsHighly disagree. This is a love letter to dia de los muertos/Mexico from the vibrant marigolds to the setting and Guadalajara inspired land of the dead. Plus the Pedro Infante inspired character makes this film really click with its point of origin, in short I wouldn't write this film off. It's shaping up to be phenomenal and with Adrian Molina and Lee Unkrich directing this is shaping up to be one of Pixars best. Also I would love to ride it as again as IP's go imo Coco deserves this attraction over the Caballeros.

Right the queue, not the ride. For the queue, I think- not the attraction layout.
Sorry to ask this but what were the original plans?@marni1971 has said that they could potentially use the original plans.
,,, they could take the AAs from GFT and put them on one of the balconies in the plaza...
Saw this on Youtube... This was the ride up until the 2007 refurb with The Three Caballeros... Classic! The Beginning and the Final scenes are awesome (the middle is great too). @marni1971 could we see parts of this again? That Final scene was amazing.
At least you wouldnt have silent fireworks...Yeah, bring back what is the heart of Mexico... a poolside bar!
I remember summer '86 the queue for El Rio stretching through the pavilion and out the entrance to the top of the steps.
Said no person, ever. But ... but ... no one went to Epcot! It was boring!
