News Pixar Play Parade is officially dead

Got excited when I read the title, then I clicked on the thread...

does the title not reflect the thread?
boo to you has honestly always been a mishmash of new units and old ones (the barn/silo unit and the above rocky.. float.. thing are two that have been in use since at least 1987)

Is it just me or is Disney's latest set of concept art (Especially for their parades) getting lazier and lazier these past 10 years? Especially the infamous concept art for Fantasmic 2017 and the new floats for Pixar Play Parade that was added in 2018. Both looking like it was done in photoshop?Disney is apparently using the costumes from Pixar Play Parade in Boo to You, confirming the death of the parade.
I seriously miss the old hand-drawn/sketched concept from the past where the artwork looked more believable and exciting.
The last pieces of concept art that still look interesting was for Pixar Play Parade and Mickey's Soundsational Parade (despite using some stock images of Disney characters)
Thankfully Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea is still making their concept look at least exciting.

The floats being reused for a new parade kinda sucks, but that woman shouting "5, 4, 3, 2, FUN!" is what appears in my room when I have sleep paralysis, so I'm good if I never have to hear it in a park again.

A parade that needed to die is dead, and it looks like I have even less reason to pay for a WDW Halloween party than before.

Don’t forget about the concept art for the Incredibles Paint the Night float.Is it just me or is Disney's latest set of concept art (Especially for their parades) getting lazier and lazier these past 10 years? What do these Pixar characters shown have to do with Halloween....?
Monsters Inc. characters.....yes....perfect fit.
Super heroes? Mmm..yeah I can kinda see that.
Toy Story..yet again...( yawn )....??
Maybe it's related since a lot of folks give small 'toys' instead of candy now to Trick or Treaters..?
This just seems like a lazy effort, but perhaps the parade will feature other units and characters.
Hope so....

Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade is performed at Walt Disney World in Florida. I probably should have mentioned that in the OP (and I'll edit it to add that now).
