You know how during Star Wars Weekends, they have all the SW weekends and lots of storm troopers walking about? I hope that they will have lots of Green Army Men walking around pixar place at any given time. The NY times article said that there will be characters in the que. Im thinking green army men too.

I wonder if Pixar Place will be the only place to see the Pixar characters on WDW property. Are Buzz, Woody and Jessie still going to be allowed to be at Magic Kingdom? Is Flik still going to be at AK? Anyone heard?

I dont see why not, Flik stars in the ride housed in AK's Landmark, Buzz and Monsters Inc have a presence in Tomorrowland and Woody and the Roundup Gang are perfect for Fronterland. So I wouldnt think they would just go away and get stuck at Pixar Place

You forgot Nemo and Crush at Epcot.

Here's my thinking on Pixar Place. The concepts for Pixar themed attractions doesn't always fit into another area on property. Although the "interplanetary convention center" that is tomorrowland provides a reason for MILF to be there, that would be something that would be better suited for Pixar Place. However, Nemo taking over the seas is a bit more logical. Wall-E could go into Tomorrowland, but my understanding is that Up (the 2009 release) might not have an appropriate location if there is an attraction surrounding that.

Do you think there is any possibility of expansion of Pixar Place to the West, into the backstage area? Where those bungalos are? I don't know how else they'd add attractions to the new "land" without going in that direction. It already looks like its going to be cramped back there.

Maybe they'll eventually ditch the Backlot Tour and that will free up some valuable real estate (at least that which wasn't gobbled up by LMA...)

If the rumor of the Ratatouille coaster going into the empty building next to TSM is true then I think you are exactly right. If you look on google earth there is a ton of space. The word is that the costuming building is being relocated and if the BST is removed there is room for Pixar to expand for years. You could say "the skys the limit". A little Wall-e and UP humor there. Just a guess though, nothings been announced.
