Not sure if it has been posted yet.

The old Plaza Parrot from POTC made it's debut at Downtown Disney's World of Disney store in the pirate/adventure section.

Say goodbye to the ugly pirate animatronic and welcome back to our old feathered friend.

:sohappy:

That's great news! I'll have to look for Mr. Barker Bird next time I'm at WOD.

Oh and the parrot on the bridge in POTC is a completely different parrot, voiced by Paul Frees.

That's great! I had a feeling we'd be seeing him again! Plus, that last thing didn't look or act like an AA at all.

Sad, really...

The origional parrot that is/was on the bridge is/was without the tatoo and some of his other piratey gear.

(last I was on pirates he was gone, some time ago. Is he back on the bridge again?)

I haven't noticed any pics of the Parrot's new home.... some here are some:

You might remember this guy, he used to be outside the PotC ride, the Barker Parrot! He has returned, he has replaced the crappy pirate AA that was located in the Boys/Pirate room at World of Disney (at DTD)... Glad to see him back...

Close up of the Barker Parrot, located at DTD's World of Disney...

One more time!

That is FANTASTIC! my daughter was so mad they took the parrot away. This will be great to see again. Does it say all the same things? Or did they change anything?

It would have been cool to put the pirate bird in the Tiki Room. Don't you think?

Ummmm, no. He wouldn't have fit in with the theme of the Tiki Birds, besides, he's too cool to associate with them. (The Tiki Birds are a bit lame...just my opinion.)
