pirates cruise at grand floridian

Hello, I am just wondering if anyone has had their kids so this and if they think its worth it. I have a 11 year old and a 7 year old (when we go) and they want to do this. any comments about how they enjoyed this will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

My son is going to do it during spring break. It sounds like fun. I have seen the "Pirate" pontoon boat on Seven Seas Lagoon before buts thats about it.

I'm too old for it. But I have interacted with some of the kids before on my various round through the resort. They look like they have so much fun. I think your 11- and 7-year olds will love it.

Our kids did the one at Caribbean Beach. I think they're all the same, just slightly themed differently... Mostly with a different "legend" the kids are told based around whichever waterway they're on.

Theirs was a pirate theme. They were told stories of pirates that traveled the waters in days gone by... The would go from island to island looking for clues, ultimately leading them to a treasure chest that was filled with goodie bags they could take with them.

They also ate a sack lunch provided to them at one point on one of the islands.

They said they loved it, and had a great time... And these were two GIRLS on a pirate cruise! :lol: Their only complaint was a couple of the kids who didn't behave or listen at all and did what they could to ruin the fun.

They're 10 and 8, by the way.

My DS (ages 9 and 6 last year )went on the Pirate Adventure Cruise from the Y&BC....they both loved it!

This year we have already made a ressie for the one at the GF during our Spring Break. My boys are so excited to do it again!

In MHO, it is worth the money......they had an adventure, got "treasure", bandanas, and lunch. I wish I could have gone!

I have heard varying age limits....some say 10, some say 12......so hopefully your 11YO can go. :wave:
