Pirates and pals fireworks voyage started yet?

Hey everyone...I'm going down to WDW in September. Does anybody really know anything about the pirates and pals fireworks voyage? Has it even started yet?

My boys are really into pirates and the POTC craze. Would this be a good thing for us to try? I really don't know anything about it.

We were having a nice romantic firework cruise and all of a sudden, what a noise, a boat full of people shouting and having a laugh:ROFLOL:. It did look fun, my only complaint would be to watch the fireworks from a slightly different part of the lagoon, all of the boats stopped in a line in th middle of lagoon and they had a Pirate with a Microphone going CRAZY:animwink:

Please do. I'm interested to know about the pre-boat festivities. We loved the grand gathering cruise last year. We got tons of snacks and drink before boarding and also got to meet Hook & Smee.

Will do. I'll try to remember to take pics of the food/drinks that are out.

Now I just have to hope that my almost 4 year old doesn't fall asleep before/during the cruise. :lol:

Just got back from the World last night. The Pirates and Pals cruise was a blast! I'm going to start a thread tonight reviewing it, complete with pics. I'll post a link when it's done.
