Pirate themed rooms

I stayed in a pirate-themed room this past May - and I loved it! As a 19-year-old, I thought the theme was great (my friend and I who stayed there are big 'Pirates' fans), so your kids will appreciate it and I'm sure you'll enjoy the details too. Definitely take a look at the pics if you haven't already.

The only small issue I had was the distance of the room from the main food court. The pirate rooms are all in Trinidad South, which is a bit of a walk in the morning (CBR is pretty spread out). If you don't mind a nice walk in the morning, the rooms are great.

Stayed in one for our vacation in Sept 2011. Kids (DS 7, 4 and 2) -- loved the room. Still talking about it. The resort is big, but we made do. We had absolutely no issues with the buses at CBR.

stayed there over thanksgiving three years ago. our kids (boy and girl) loved them! the walk back to the main pool was a little long, but we didnt mind. we made the walk to get coffee in the morning or snacks at night and it was a nice walk for us. the room itself was pretty cool. i would stay there again if the kids asked!:)

I see on the Resort Map multiple Bus stations. Can we get the park buses right by the buildings or do you have to go to the main building? I don't think we'll mind the walk, we stayed at POR and had to walk 5-10 min to get anywhere.

Busses are located at the main building area. There are multiple stops. BUT the walk is not bad.

We stayed in the Jamacia Building this past May at CB and walked the whole property each morning to get our walks in. Saw the Pirate Building. It is the fartherst from the food court but don't let that discourage you! Those Pirate Themed rooms look super nice from all the pics folks post. And the LAY OF THE LAND of CB is well thought out. You will love this resort IF you have not stayed there before.

We were a 90's Building fan at POP for a few years. This past May we upgraded and WOW we felt a difference. Don't get me wrong all properties are very nice and Disney Themed for sure. BUT we really enjoyed the stay. Our room at CB was so much bigger and nice. In the first 5 mins checking in at CB I told my wife that this was a great decision to upgrade. This May we'll do it again - that is stay at CB.

GOOD LUCK and ENJOY!

edit: Sorry should have been more clear. The busses have areas/stops that are close to the building/villas. Each Villa has a name. Jamacia was ours. So we walked from our villa to the stop nearest to us. DisneyInsider is right...you do not have to walk to the MAIN builiding. You can just grab a bus at any of the stops on the property. For us...Jamacia and the stop we used were close. AND the busses came right in from the road and hit this stop first. So we were first on and sort of first OFF as the busses came onto CB property. It was nice, least we thought...

The park buses stop at all the stops in the resort. So you don't have to go to the main building just to grab transportation to the parks.

Exactly. And I have NEVER been so close to a bus stop as I was when we stayed at CBR in a Pirate Room. In my best estimation, I was 30 steps from my hotel room door to the bench at the bus stop. Not so close I could hear them though. The online map of CBR always confuses me, but best I can tell, we were in the far left corner of Building 38 (by the map - corner closest/ pointing to bus stop) and walked through a breezeway in/ through Building 37 to get to the bus stop. So close. It was great! I bet you will love it. I had never considered a moderate and we ended up there by 'accident' (long story) and had such an amazing trip! Love everything about the resort.

I hope your trip is fantastic!
